Recession is now the culprit!

I wondered how long it would take for the recession to be responsible for the decline in places in care homes.

Could it be that the greedy ones would prefer to take their cash and close a few care homes and run all the way to the offshore bank, while those who need residential care are … abandoned.

Is it not questionable that Local Authorites can suddenly come up with initiatives to speed up payments and keep bureaucracy to a minimum to ease some of the economic pressures on care home operators, but they can rarely come up with any inititatives to speed up payments and keep bureaucracy to a minimum to east the pain of those who need care?

Call my a cynic, if you will, but only if you can prove otherwise!  Please, be my guest!

Yes, I know I’m behind with this blog, but I’ve only just started on it.
